Academic Excellence At Every Level

Curriculum

ICSQC follows the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum prescribed by the Department of Education (DepEd), enhanced with values-based instruction, 21st-century skills integration, and co-curricular experiences. Our academic framework emphasizes holistic development—fostering critical thinking, creativity, and compassion from early childhood to senior high school.

Academic Support & Intervention Program

At ICSQC, we are committed to ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive academically. Our academic support programs are designed to respond to diverse learning needs through structured interventions, flexible learning options, and continuous assessment.

1. Tutorial Program

This personalized program provides one-on-one or small-group academic assistance for students who need extra help beyond regular class hours. It is especially beneficial for families with limited time to assist with homework or review. Tutors focus on building understanding, confidence, and study habits tailored to each learner's pace.

2. GRACE (Global Resources for Assessment Curriculum and Evaluation) programs

Under the GRACE Program, two key assessment tools are implemented:
    a. PASS is a standards-based assessment designed to evaluate students' competencies in key subject areas, including Mathematics and Science. Aligned with the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) K–12 curriculum, PASS serves as a summative assessment for Grades 1 to 10. Its primary goal is to measure students' academic performance in meeting prescribed grade-level standards and competencies.
    b. ASEC evaluates non-cognitive factors essential to effective learning and the overall educational experience. These factors include academic self-regulation, grit, and social and emotional competence. The assessment draws from established frameworks such as Academic Self-Regulation by Barry Zimmerman, Grit by Angela Duckworth, and Social and Emotional Competencies from CASEL's SEL Framework. ASEC is administered to students in Grades 1 to 12.

3. Friday Online Classes

Fridays are reserved for online learning, allowing students time for independent work, project completion, and self-paced study. This schedule fosters responsibility, time management, and deeper engagement with learning materials—while also giving teachers time to prepare, review student progress, and conduct consultations.
