Cheers and applause fills the school's covered court on Thursday, December 19, as the International Christian School holds its awards ceremony for Intramurals 2024 held at ICS Covered Court.

Ms. Jessele Competente from the Junior High School Department hosted the event which began at 9AM.

The program starts with a solemn prayer led by Ms. Vivian Sarmiento, followed by the singing of the national anthem, conducted by Ms. Miles Fajardo.

Next, Ms. Jhezel Modrigo, the school’s teacher leader, delivered the opening remarks, welcoming school officials and commending the teamwork and camaraderie displayed by the participating students.

Before the highly anticipated awarding ceremony, Ms. Competente hyped the crowd, encouraging each section to cheer and clap when their section was called.

Finally, outstanding individuals and teams from various games were honored with medals and trophies, recognizing their sportsmanship, determination, and perseverance throughout the three-day competition.

The ceremony began with awards for the elementary department and continued through to the senior high school department, with participants being awarded for their achievements in chess, e-games, badminton, volleyball, and basketball.

After the awarding was done, a volleyball exhibition game took place between teachers and students, giving everyone an opportunity to have fun and come together.

As this year’s intramurals comes to a close, may the event leave lasting memories in everyone and serve as an inspiration to continue striving for excellence, embody teamwork, and uphold humbleness, respect, and integrity.
